October 1962 Flying Models magazine. Submitted without their permission. Picture says "Dubby Jett". Is this Dubb Jett ?

I just saw a Super8 film that was made in 1972 at the World champion pylon racingen in England.
Bob Violett and my dad did some fighting in the airspace over England, guess who won.

Bob did, but my dad was not last.

I met your Dad at that event as I was on the Irish team and we found the Swedish pilots very friendly and willing to show us their models and discuss setups and techniques. I seem to remember that Rune Svenningsson was your star pilot and did quite well.

As you say Telford/Violett were unbeatable and deserved their win. Your Dad was not last - he was 22nd and beat me into 23rd place!

Here are a couple of shots of the Swedish and Irish teams.

Ray sorry for the late reply, I saw it now first.
Last saturday I flew my dads pylonracer that he had with him in England with Rune as a mechanic.
And yeasterday I flew his mustang from the same year.

Yes thats dad on the second picture from the left.
