Status: offline 		I am about to buy a 9303 2.4 and noticed the free rx giveaway deal. I am not quite clear on this deal. If I buy a 9303 system that comes with one rx does that rx qualify me for a free one or do I have to buy a second rx in addition to the one that comes with the system?

Status: offline 		Horizon Hobby told me yes, you need to buy another receiver to get the free one - you will end up with 3 in total. Or you can buy two additional, get two free, and end up with 5 in total. Horizon's objective is to get you to convert your entire fleet.

I too called Horizon. If you look at the voucher

you will see that you must first complete part one, ie buy a qualifying system, then complete part two, indicating the additional qualifying receivers purchased. I also asked if there were any way to track the progress of your voucher and free receivers, and they said you just need to wait until they end up in your mailbox, as everything is handled through a third party!!

WHAT ABOUT ALL THE LOYAL JR CUSTOMERS WHO JUMPED ON THE BAND WAGON AND BOUGHT A NEW 9303 2.4DSM IN THE BEGINNING? IS THERE ANY WAY FOR US TO GET THIS DEAL? I HAVE ALREADY BOUGHT EXTRA RECEIVERS BUT I STILL NEED MORE TO FINISH CONVERTING MY FLEET. I'M SURE I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS QUESTION !

If you are one of their loyal customers, you get the bill regularly.

SO THAT MAY HELP SOME OF THE LOYAL CUSTOMERS WHO BOUGHT JR'S NEW SYSTEMS TO FEILD TEST FOR THEM. HE SAID THAT HE WAS IN THE SAME BOAT AS US AND THAT THEY HAD RECIEVED A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF CALLS ABOUT THIS INJUSTICE , AND HE HAD REPORTED THE VOLUME OF CALLS TO HIS SUPERVISOR TO NO AVAIL. HE SAID THE BEST WAY TO GET THE DEAL WOULD BE THE NEW DX6i, ITS A NEW 6 CHANNEL FULL RANGE SYSTEM FOR 180 BUCKS. BUY YOUR 2 NEW RECEIVERS TO GET YOUR 2 FREE RECEIVERS THEN SELL YOUR NEW UNUSED DX6i (HOPEFULLY WITHOUT LOSING TOO MUCH MONEY) . MAYBE IF WE ALL COMPLAIN ENOUGH THEY WILL CHANGE THEIR EVIL WAYS. REALLY FOLKS I AM A LOYAL USER OF JR EQUIPMENT AND AM QUITE SATISFIED WITH MY 9303XP 2.4 WITH NO ISSUES TO DATE. HOWEVER YOU DO NEED TO CHECK OUT YOUR RECEIVERS TO BE SURE YOU HAVE THE NEWER VERSION WITH THE QUICK CONNECT FIRMWARE. IF NOT SEND THEM IN FOR A FREE UPDATE. TO CHECK TO SEE IF YOU HAVE THE NEW VERSION TURN YOUR SYSTEM ON AS USUAL , AFTER ALL YOUR SURFACES ARE MOVING TURN YOUR RECEIVER OFF AND BACK ON WHILE WIGGLING THE STICKS THE SYSTEM SHOULD START WORKING IMEDIATELY AND THE LIGHTS MUST START FLASHING IMEDIATELY. IF IT DOES YOU HAVE THE NEW VERSION, IF NOT SEND THEM BACK FOR THE FREE UPDATE.
