I must say the 9.5 brushless motor I chose was a good choice at my local track. And the stock tires really hooked up fine there also, but might not work everywhere. This chassis has alot of race potential for what it is. thread shocks, high quality parts, everything in between. Although some parts need to be replaced to have a stronger race truck. The stock ball-studs are not ment for racing and will break very easy, so it's best to replace them with AE or losi ball-studs. And cap the the ball-stud ends off with lock nuts, then use a drop of blue threadlocker. And since the ball-studs are upgraded get you some matching black RPM ball-cups also. Drain the old oil out of the shocks and re-fill them with 25,30,35-40wt shock oil depending on the track conditions.
