ORIGINAL: sbracing do any of you have any advice on how to keep my front end down. Loosen the slipper. With the weight of the battery in the car...Take the spur gear cover off, jam a peice of cardboard or paper folded up a few times between the spur and pinion, and roll the rear wheels of the car backwards. Loosen the slipper to the point where the front end just tries to start coming up but then falls back down on its own weight. That's a good point to start from if you are interested in keeping the front end down and protecting driveline comoponents like the rear wheel axles (I have actually broken an axle). If it is still doing wheelstands at that point you cna go back in and loosen it a tick and see how that works out for you.
