I took a stock Evader spur with bushing and used that. I also had to drill out the center of the bushing just slightly (used a small dremel and stone), and the slipper pads were adhesived on, works quite well while in a pinch. Problem is that my HPI spur came in and now I'm screwed for pads, heh.

Yes T4 Spurs are a direct fit if you use the T4/B4 slipper pads with it.
I did.

Okay so i am thinking about getting one of these for my birthday. But i jump hard and will these things handle what i want? I know that rpm doesnt make parts for them yet (wish they did though) and i am leary of buying it if i always break arms or something. I would get the flux version but i have one more question. Do you guys go through spur gears very fast with your brushless motors in there? im just wondering cause i always go through tons in my stampede. Sometimes even more than 1 or 2 in 1 battery.

HELP!!

I have got a brand new FIRESTORM 10T. I have followed the instructions and run the first tank of fuel through with the wheels elevated and spinning. Now that I have reached the stage of getting it running and doing the next 2 tanks at half speed, Icant get it started! I have followed the fault finding guides and all the info on the HPI website, still nothing. This is a new hobby to me and one that my children and I have been looking forward to a great deal. However, it would appear that I have bought a 200 pound ornament. Anyone got any ideas what I am doing wrong, I will be eternally greatful. (not to mention it will shut the wife up "I told you not to buy it!!!)

HELP

The spur is pretty hefty for nylon type plastic, my spur in the Firestorm lasted longer than I ever expected, and the only reason it finally got eaten, was completely my fault. The Firestorms are almost 100% bulletproof for brushless applications. And no, no other parts have broken and to tell you the truth, I don't ever see the arms breaking unless I do something reaaaaalllly stupid.

smismi: try the nitro section of the forums.

It's a durable truck I have yet to break it. The only reason why I also completly stripped the stock spur was my fault.
I cleared the tripple at my track and the truck landed motor first loosening the motor, that was mainly because the stock motor
screws are too short. I replaced them with longer screws.

There are two lengths they come in, they are the longer of the two lengths is what I use, and I cannot judge by the picture as to if these are the correct length ones or not. But they're the right brand and style.

Would the fatboy screws fit a mamba motor? lol sorry if its a noob question...

LAME my other post got deleted coz i linked it to ebay to show what it looked like...

Anyways heres the repost.

Would the HPI silverado truck body fit the E-firestorm? it says it fits the T4...xxx-t .... like is it a good fit like the stock shell?

And also would the HPI MT2 and MT cvd's fit the E-firestorm?

yes the hpi chevy body fit and the ford and dodge as well you just need to make new holes, the ones marked on the bodys dont line up with the posts, and dont forget you can move the rear body posts to either side of the shock tower, heres a shot of a hpi dodge ram on my e-firestorm and the chevy on my nitro firestorm
