Checked the race update for Whittier this morning and this caught my eye. Does anyone have additional info on this new Chinease composite ARF??

"Gino Delponte & Tony Lopez with the new "NINJA 500" from China.
Gino turned a 1:06 with this plane before it's ill fated flight. The "NINJA 500" will be availiable in the USA very soon for a very reasonable price."

Yeah, I just got that also.

I guess when I heard Chinease and very reasonable, I didn't expect $400.

Dang.

Still not a bad price if it is competitive with the Vortexs/Neme-Q pluses, but not low enough to draw casual 424 racers to 428.

From what I saw that $399 is just the intro price and it is going to go up. But I guess it will be nice that they are or will be in stock.

Yes Dave we need another 424 arf. The Viper is ok, but you have to buy 10 just to find 1 that's worth a flip. To bad they killed Lanier, , I love my old Pred 1.

P.S. the Ninja is from the same people that are selling the Profi engines, if that helps.

D:

Wonder how the Profi engine would do on a Jett SJ carb, either 15 or 40? Smooth sounds very good to me, but doubt if the Sports Jett 60LX will be under any direct compitition, though it shakes a little. ENJOY

Profis would have been good competition for the Nelson SS motors, I don't think they have faired all that well against the newer LS motors though.

Never run a Jett .60LX Roger so I have no idea. I do know that the LS Nelsons, when running right, are pretty amazing.

Gino was using a Nelson LS with an 8.75x8.5N prop at Whittier.
