It should be light enough now. I think any mod motor will work fine.

omg no name,

Good start. Curious, what is your steering issue? Recommend roll testing the car with all the electrics in place. Either remove the pinion, or move the motor assy fwd on its mount so the car rolls free with the radio and xmtr on. That should help you nail any stg issues. Adjust for a straight roll with the stg trim set to zero - or midway. Then you set in trim once you beginning running your course. Roll test it again at the site you run at. Can't tell from the pix, and don't know the chassis. But, if you have kingpin angle to the rear, you can run 0 deg toe. If the kingpins are vertical, you'll need some toe-in to help it go more straight. 1/16" should work O.K.

Good luck. Let us know how you do.

I understand now. As long as you have to get a new horn, think about using a servo saver. I use Kimbrough on both my cars-Futaba model on the bracket Camaro. HiTec model for the TFE. These are the small ones. Work good in close clearance and are light. Steering takes a lot of shock drag racing because there is little or no suspension. If there is a suspension, it is usually real stiff. Good luck.

oh yea i forgot i took it out for a run and i hit 55 mph top so far. i changed the gearing to 28 tooth pinion and 81 spur. i might make a 7 cell battery soon, so that would give me more power to.
