Hey folks, I got a question: Everytime I switch on my car, the throttle servo starts tremblinglike there is inteference somewhere. I plugge in a spare servo and it does the same, but stops if I turn off the transmitter. I turn it back on, and it trembles again. I dont know if it's the transmitter, or receiver but I'm sure its not the servo. I have replaced all batteries, cleaned all connections all to no avail. Does anybody have any ideas?

This may sound simple, but try turning your trim down a little bit on the throttle. Let us know if that helps.

Servo's are kinda twitchy in my experience. Then again I have never owned a really high quality radio system.

as far as tremble is concerned, are we talking enough to make your throttle or sterring erratic?

I have the same issue when I turn on my radio. It kinda "buzzes" a bit until it relaxes. Try picking up the front wheels of your car when switching on the reciever.

unscrew and take off the servo horn. hopefully the servo will centre itself and stop twitching. then reattach it all. might work?

I have to agree with pede, put the steering servo in the place of the throttle servo on the reciever see if it does the same thing. If it does sounds like the reciever is bad, if not then the servo.

Of course I'm turning on the transmitter dumass, and the batteries are good and the servo is not trying to center itself. Like I already said, I tried another servo and it does the same, thats why I think its the transmitter. If I turn off the transmitter and leave the receiver on, it stops. Switch on the transmitter and it trembles again and wont move

I have a feeling you are right about your reciever. If you have the am setup on the 27mhz freq. Then this unit should work for you. http://allaboutfunhobbies.com/store/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/202

like I said, if I swap servos it does the same, but stops when I turn off the transmitter, so surely it can only be transmitter or receiver. If I replace them, would it be better to buy FM or AM? What is the difference in p
