[I was reffering to the general discussion about his mod and loss off compression.

Yes I do know what compression is. I was reffering to the mods on the button. I wasn't even talking about the sleeve.
I thought that was the discussion since that was the pics you posted.] by ch Mayday

Dude, make up your mind, if you just trippin on this forum so be it. HIS mods are on the sleeve, thats why I said compression has nothing to do with it. Do you know what is a pronoun?; HIS, YOU whatever dude, you are trippin hardcore, just read and learn, by the way you dont know what compression is...

I answered your question since the beginning, but you just want to look like a jackass here on the forum.

one question about the JB weld. did u use that in your test or is the something else that fell apart after the fuel bath? also the small cuts on the head button, they go oppisite the exhast? they are over the port in front right? messing with the exhast port u don't recomend? why? i thoght if i get more exhaste out i get higher rpm's? or does it mess the compression up to much?

English is not my first language so, I must have misunderstood you.
I know that you said it you didn't loose compression, but I thought you were talking about the scoring on the headbutton(or what it's called) and others that post about that mod say it does make you loose compression.
Also I don't remember being rude or badmouthing you, so I'd appreciate it if you replied the same way.

The stuff that fell apart was Palstic Padding super steel(don't know if it's called that in english, just made a direct traslation from the swedish name). I did test the JB WELD, and it held up just fine in the fuel bath. However I will not use it since someone I know is very, very good at this adviced against it. I'm going with the Loctite silicone, that proved to be both fuel and fuel/heat resistant.

WOW looks like this is getting ugly. So heres the truth. If you cut the grooves in the head button you will lose compression. Your taking material out of the head button so its really a no brainer. How much compression are you loosing?... not much, and all depending on how deep you cut etc. But you are taking compression out.

Here's a vid of todays testrun, tuning was hard as I'm quite sure it's leaking air from the backplate(will fix that today).

Here's the vid of the testrun

looks good, however my LRP 28 will do that all day long. How much top end do you have, I didnt hear it shift.

It does shift, but sometimes it starts of in second gear. Don't know about top end, the space was too small.

The LRP is a great engine, but the OS did not do that before I ported it. What truck do you drive? Mine is about 15lbs on an empty tank.

A buddy of mine has the vg 30 in his savage and its pretty awesome, but I get him on top, I bet your ported 30 will be alot better on top when you try it. I ported a cheap force 28 and smoothed it all out with the rubber tip and it was crazy fast, until it just plain wore out. I drive an MGT 4.6 with a stock spec 3

It's got alot more torque through the rpm range now, that's for sure
Had to hold back on the throttle a bit since the area I drove in wasn't that big.

Anyways, I've gained more power than I thought so I'm quite happy about it.

Thats what matters. I did similar porting like you, also to a dynamite 28 3 port, all polished, in my ravager buggy and it rocks, but its showing its age. My MGT seems to like breaking the axle cross pins now, due to the power and a heavy throttle finger I have...

Think I'll need to practice my throttle control aswell, all those flipovers is giving the truck a beating.

Two fangs pointed to the top corner. You can reshape it when you open it up again.

PS
This work is not mine, I wanted to show how deep you can go.
These don't look straight nor polished.
Good luck

I have reshaped the fang. And since it's working so well I'll stick to one.
