I was mounting a Hitec 5925 today in a wing and found that it appears to have 180 degrees of travel. I checked the servo for the other wing and it appears normal. Is there something that needs to be done to the servo to change it back or when it is energized will it work like its twin?
Thanks
Jeff

The servo is capable of 180 degrees of travel but only if reprogrammed with the HFP-10/20 programmer. They come with standard travel out of the box. If this servo is set to 180 then you will need to have it reprogrammed back to the stock settings.

Mike.

You can send the servo to us and we can re-program it for you.

Mike.

Thanks Mike!!
I have to energize it first and make sure it is truely 180. I was installing it in a wing and manually turning it to end points like its mate in the other wing and this one goes 180 degrees before coming ot an end point. It is a 5925. I will energize it and check it out.
Thanks again
Jeff

Aaaaaaa... well the physical stops are 180, so this is what you were going off of and you never powered it up?

Mike.
