Status: offline 		Hi bashers i have quick easy question for you guys. In the volcano stx are the visible gears in the transmission that spin via the engine clutch bell should you be able to move the gears back and forth towards the tranny box. They seem to have some play i was wondering if this is normal or if it will affect the truck. Is there a way to fix this maybe by using the purple locknut. Thanks Alot cant wait to hear back.

Status: offline 		they should spin not have play. There are bearings on the ends of them where they meet the plastic trans case. They might be worn. How old is this?

Status: offline 		Im not sure as to how old it is, if i were to guess i would say the original. I bought this used and dont know much about past parts history. But this is a nice truck, not beat up at all. I was thinking that its not right, they spin nice an free, but you can move the spur gear back and forth (front to Back of vehicle). I might have to take a look at it up close. You guys are amazing thats why i asked, always helpn us newbies get outta tight spots and learn this RC stuff so we also can have fun. Thanks Alot!
