Hi All,
There is a “NEW” plane to add to the SPA list !!! After many conversations with Nic Damuck and getting everything to Mickey for an approval the Niris (AKA Peppermint Pattie) has been approved and will be back in production shortly. Plans are being copied and templates being made this week.
The designer is pleased to see the PP back in production, and this will be offered like the Deception as a short kit.
The basic short kit will be the cores and the plans, Deluxe short will be sheeted cores and leading / trailing edge in place and roughed in.. The landing gear block will be installed for fixed gear, or if using retracts for BPA there will be a slight increase for the time to install retract plates and might even have you send me your retracts to make it easier. There also will be carbon strips on the top and bottom of the wings.
Other building options will be able to be talked about.
Pricing is still being worked out and will be posted shortly. The short kit will be offered thru Performance Model Aviation. From what Nic has told me this would also make a very good BPA plane!!

I am excited to see one of Nic's planes kitted again. I always wanted a PP when they were on the market (when I was about 10 years old...)
Scott, would you consider getting set up with a laser cutter to make a fuse/tail semi-kit? I would definitely be interested. I don't have the time or tools to properly cut out the kit myself.
