No Tiger Is right now, the only Tiger I belonging to USA is in England right now. This is Tiger 712 of the 501st from Tunisia.

I hear the Patton museum and Danville are pretty good places to see German armor as well as Aberdeen. There has been some discussion that the German armor at Aberdeen is not currently on display. You can get more details over at Missing-Lynx.

Supposedly the Tiger I that use to be at Aberdeen Proving Grounds is coming back to USA. One of the tank museums sites.---Panzermuseum.com-- has a report on this. Apparently the transport plane that was supposed to bring it back crashed and it has been put on back burner. This article also mentions Aberdeen's collection will be moving to a new facility in Fort Lee, VA in 2009.

Right, the tank won't be brought back until sometime after the move. The Research Squad has recently documented the tank in its current condition and will produce a pictorial book on the restoration like the Panther. It will probably encompass 3 or 4 volumes.

REAL TIGER 1 IN THE U.S

Aberdeen did have a tiger 1 , although when i vesited it ,it was and still is in England I think it is due back this year . they do have a good verity, and On hand are some Pzkw .III,&4s. and with them They have a rear pzkfw Sonder aussuhrungdes pnz.4 . A JagTiger that shows some battle damage. A Jagpanther A pzkw 1 , Some 88 flak guns & a Rail road gun named the LEOPOLD. the tanks along the entrance are in restored condition, some tanks have been cut into so people could see inside them with a wire mesh over the cutout.and the others are just sitting un touched. It's a shame to see. They will be moving as stated and i will return once again only this time ill be armed with a digital camera.
