Ya, new hackers are pretty expensive online. Ebay is my only source for "cheap" ones. What is wrong with the Nue?

it internally disassambled and unthreaded it seems. It been running pretty harsh but, 6-pole motors can (SHOULD) handle these loads with no issues. This was the same time the MGM took a dump. Another $260 part down the drain.. I can run the same loads with the 3500kv and that sucker doesnt even get hot nevermind falling to pieces. TRIAL -N- ERROR..always

I got the xlt 3100 Lehner today. The rotor spins just as smooth as the hackers of mine. But the motor can is alot shorter then I thought it was going to be when I first saw Sunny's. My 8L hacker is a bit longer and the coil area seems to be just as long as the 380 6L feigao. Diameter is bigger though then both the hacker and Feigao. Looks good nevertheless. Now I have to find out how well it does turning my heavy beadlocks.

CONGRATS ON THE 3100!! Let me know how it rolls with the beadlocks. I am talking to a certain someone now about "making" my motor. We've spoke about what size motor but not price... so we will see. Your boy Sune is a great dude (been chatting with him in emails). Seriously man, You have an amazing little scene down there.. I need to get down there for a run. All of your guys are fasssssssst and knowledgible it seems.

The L3 is getting a makeover.... (possible front wheel drive). Ill let you know how that works out. I am at the limit with topend and as far as dragging it is a waste so something needs to happen and I have a few ideas. I have heard of the FWD in RWD direct drive cars been done and more successfull runs with it. We'll see

Yea, Sunny is a great dude. Yes, in a short time we have grown and have created a great racing scene. I'm happy it has grown to what it is. And the best thing is, that it will get better this year. Would be great if you could make it down here on day.

Very cool that you are getting a motor made to your specs. Nothing better then being the unique one out there.
So you are converting to FWD. No more wheelies! Direct drive is nice as well, but kinda too much for me. It will be interesting for sure though.

I have thought about AWD for speedruns+dragracing. But I need to figure out a simple electronic clutch system for it. That will be a later project as all the electronics will only fit in a 1/8 vehicle or bigger.
