Thanks mate i think my woody vee took 8 weeks from start to getting wet if i remember right so i doubt ill beat that but id say if you had a week you could spend building this kit you could have it done and running by the end of it .Ive been doing an hr here and there and it really is a pleasure to build.

As im out of paint ive been figuring out my throttle setup as i said before i made a throttle arm for the carb and ive now fixed a dubro cable holder to it. To hold the cable sleeve i used a nylon pushrod connector from my aeroplane days ,best forgotten ,i drilled a hole in the mount and used a stainless self tapper to screw it in place the hole on the connector was opened up for the cable sleeve to slide in ,i was carefull not to drill all the way through and ill glue it in place should work well and i can keep a nice gentle loop in the cable to run to the servo.

The theme was allways yellow and green, but i decided not so much green as i first intended.Maybe theres a reason everyone has yellow boats .

Well i printed a few decals today using some clear vinyl that you can use in your home printer. They came out pretty good but the green is a slightly diff shade but i think it still looks good, ive clear coated the hull now decals and all 4 light coats,i just need to paint the cowl now then ill start installing everything in the hull.

Well i had a problem with the cowl when i painted it it rurned out a diff shade i bought the same colour same serial number ,really annoyed at the time but it turned out a blessing as i ended up looking in the shed and found a few tins of enamel and i mixed a batch of yellow with a little blue to come up with this green.I think it looks really good, let me know what you guys think?.Ive fixed one cowl lock as you can see ,ill fix the other later.I also made a standoff for my rudder to put it further back, ill be rigging up the radio box and the pushrod for the rudder and the cable for the throttle tomorrow. The pushrod is in just needs cutting to fit,its running inside a small glas fibre tent pole left over from an old pop up tent to stop any flexing.
