Hi guys well its finally begun,i recieved a few more supplies today so began the build of the Rocket.Everything went together really well, hardly any sanding of the parts was needed once popped out of the sheets.A quick cut with a knife to release the parts is needed ,that takes a matter of seconds then a quick sand and its ready for glue .The new cowl came today also and wow its awesome this things going to look great once done, ive even got a ready made driver to fit in there which ill show later .Heres a cpl of pics of what ive done so far all comments welcome cheers Joe for making this fantastic kit .

The motor will be a zen 260 full mod from a friend in the states ,the motor has had some use but has only recently been modded so should be perfect for this boat .What you see in the pic is 1 hrs work ! now all i need to do is wait 8-9 hrs for it to set lol hence why its sat in the kitchen as its been freezing here the past cpl of days ,thats going to be the hard part waiting .

Mart!!!! A modded Zen from the States??? Oh my god.... do you realise the stick you're going to get for that!!!
NO!!! Don't even think about commenting... you know what'll happen then....

Haha, just kidding.

While you're waiting for it to set why don't you scale the plans down and build an identical mini electric one? Gives you something to do whilst ones clamped and drying and they'd look good together

Kev.

So mart is building a fast boat now no more weedy or CY engine...your engine should blow his away big time if he still thinks of the old power plan.
