PROSTOCK68 -> superchargers and n.o.s. on 2 strokes? (3/25/2008 4:41:53 PM)

i found this site.rbinnovations that makes n.o.s. and superchargers for 2 strokes, anyone know if these really work????[:o]

Not again.......

Superchargers dont work. the exhaust port is still open after the inlet closes so the pressure is lost.......

Cheers

Might as well run boat fuel.

If you put reeds on a two stroke both superchargers and turbos do work. NOS does work too. I do not believe NOS system will work with glow plugs but I know it works with spark plugs. Be sure to make jets fatter and advance the timing.

nos does work and it works very well .The one great thing about nitrous is it does not car what it is injected in as long as there is fuel and a way to ignite it it will make power even if it is on a 2 stroke i have some experience with it and have had some great results you can expect in most cases a 50% increase in power

super charger do work, I had one in my R/C10 GT power O.S 18CV-R bu-ku pipe and the difference was huge from stock to S/C

this i have to agree with. I had my old Yokomo GT4 racing another GT4 with an RB super charger and wow I didnt stand a chance on a good day...

nitrous, maybe...the pipe on a 2 stroke is the part to do what a blower does for 4 stroke. supercharging = good help for lo rpm power + turbo = good help for hi rpm power
2 stroke just needs good pipe to help out, narrow or wide power determined by divergent + convergent + stinger length + pos + belly dia. + length all adjustable to make what power you need and at what rpm. Harder to do...I'm still learning - youre right glow wont handle it, but gas needs quality plug, which will need replacing. Small price for big gains

What about using one of those superchargers on a 4 stroke? That would work correct?

Depending on the specific design of the ports and how much boost its running a FI will work.
