I have been using Ni-Cads for many years, now my quarter scale aircraft requires larger output batteries.
Can anyone please tell me the charge rate, discharge rate, minimum voltage to discharge to, and maximum voltage to charge them to.
I understand that these batteries are more critical than ni-cads to charge, I also went on the web, but found several different answers.
I contacted Multiplex by e-mail but received no answer. I'm beginning to think there is no answer, Ha!Ha! Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm using NI-MH batteries @ 6 volt, 2700 MAH and a 5 cell pack
I'm charging with a Multi plex LN 5014 charger.

I went to that site and read and read and read.....The info that I got was to discharge no more than 500 ma, to slow charge at 150 ma,
and fast charge at 1.0 amp and do not discharge them less than .8 volt per cell...and no matter what the charger says, the batteries are not fully charged unless they are warm to the touch.
Does this sound correct?

What e-mail address did you send to? We answer every e-mail we get in the US within one business day, but Germany gets a lot of holidays so sometimes it takes them longer.

NiMh's in my mind are easier to deal with because you don't have to worry about discharging or cycling them since they do not develop a memory like Nicads. The 2700A size batteries can easily handle a 2A charge rate but the slower the charge the deeper it will be for slightly longer run time. If fast charging any battery, if it's not warm it's not charged is a valid statement.

If you think about it, you are correct ni-mh batteries do not have a memory so recycling would do no good.
I use Hitec products and I love the LN 5014 charger/recycler.

Thank you for the help, these batteries are new to me, I'm still in the old days when all we had was 500 mah ni-cad packs
