I am considering converting my 8103 to spektrum. Will the radio be capable of using all 8 channels with the 2.4 module?

Thanks.

I wouldn't know why not - the module is 9 ch.
I just put a module in mine this weekend and had no problems configuring it for my Ultra Stick (7 ch.)
In fact if your current settings are PPM, it's purely plug & play...

I have the 7000ar module for the futaba 9c tx, because I was worried about the 'futaba 2.4 problem', when I switched on the tx it was not bound to the new module, but have fitted the bind plug to the switch socket, and then tried to bind the tx to the 7000. It bound but when I removed the bind plug, I lost communication. I even reread the instructions. Is this another version of the 'futaba 2.4 problem'

I have tried to contact the agent in us and uk but no response. I have missed two weeks flying, and am concerned, that I should have stayed with futaba.

I seem to remember reading in my old 8103 manual that on PPM it will only do 7ch. If the 2.4 module is running on the PPM interface then I think only 7ch is available. I'll have to look in my 8103 manual again.
