No, it won't! It does not need it as it is super light! Very light fuse loading.

Plane will be sold same price of the 102" as it is essentially the same plane with some mods to make it compatible with DA85 at lower weight.

It will be as easy as any other plane to have smoke pump and smoke installed

Thank you,
Reza

Rezagh,

Really looking forward to this model as it will be my first gasser.

I have two questions,

1) In the combos on the new site, is the supplied muffler a wrap around Pitts style?

2) What are the dimensions of the pipe tunnel?

Thanks,

Michael

Hi Michael,

You would have to ask Molly/Alicia about the muffler by emailing qqaircraft@gmail.com but I suspect it is the slimline pitts for DA85 or stock DA mufflers for DA100.

I need to measure the dimension to be able to help you with that but may I ask why you are asking? It would work with 50mm diamter mtw cans and greeve on DA100. Anything with that diameter should be fine. If you are using DA85 then Greeve.

Thank you,
Reza

Rezagh,

Thanks for the reply. I'm asking because I want two know what will and will not work. Money in an object in my situation because I'm 15 but I don't want the plane to be lacking on power or to loud. And yes, I will be using a DA85.

I've been flying indoors for about three years and indoor pattern for about one. This will be my first gasser so any help would be appreciated.

Michael

101 will be here in less than 10 days. Perhaps late next week.

Michael,

I understand See the tunnel needs to be modified to accept pipe. Your best bet would be the Greeve pipe because Quique has already written the steps for modification required. Power wise you will be happy with slimline muffler, but it will not be as quiet as pipe. Have you seen the mod instruction. Take a look at this www.rcmodelaviator.com/QQAC/DA85Conversion.pdf

Thank you,
Reza
