Hi all!

I picked up 2 Aero Ace planes last night and my plan is to go from these to a Parkzone Micro Cessna. Does that sound reasonable? Am I going to learn anything on the AA that I can take with me to the Micro Cessna? I have been driving nitro RC cars for some time and I recently purchased an electric helicopter that I am in the process of learning how to fly.

Thanks!

What kind of AA did you get. I think the micro cessna is easier to fly then most of the AA planes, but it breaks easier too. Fly them all in no wind and you will be fine and I mean zero wind.

Thanks for the info, I bought the AA bi-wing, and the new AA with the single extended wing.

I went from the air hogs to a Hobby zone super cub then a park zone T-28 I would also if you can get a simulator. Try and find one on ebay if you can't afford a brand new one. I came from racing off road buggies and truggies pretty hard core too. Good luck and enjoy

There's not much you're going to learn from the AAs other than left is right when the plane is coming towards you. The biggest advice I can give is to use gentle stick movements so you don't over-control it. If you get in trouble, let go of the sticks. The Cessna is so stable it will correct itself in most any situation (given a bit of altitude, anyway). The throttle doesn't have to be firewalled all the time; use it to control your altitude. I think you will enjoy the model very much. Good luck.

I love the Cessna. I think that you would have a much better time flying one of those than an airhogs plane. With the cessna, you can do loops and rolls, and inverted flight for advanced pilots. AirHogs is cheaper, but you will get more bang for your buck flying a Cessna

I first started out with the airhogs and then made a jump to the Micro Cessna and I think you should be fine. I just suggest the first time you fly it make sure it is completly calm out so you can get the hang of it.
