ok guys, whats the best way to trim out the wheel wells and windows of a fiberglass body of my 1/4 scale drag car?? someone on a r/c heli site used a soldering iron with a xacto knife blade in the tip and said it worked awesome nice smooth cut and edges, anyone done this???

The tip you describe works awesome on certain types of plastic so why not ? I would definately test it on a scrap piece of fiberglas first.

Dremel with a round stone/disc, then fine wet&dry. Don't breathe the dust...fibreglass is the new asbestosis....
