OK, let me answer the big question before you ask. The finished weight is 10 pounds 6.5 oz I did try to save weight as much as possible, but as you will see this can be improved on.
I ordered everything from: Central Hobbies (800)-723-5937 http://www.centralhobbies.com/ SWB (262)-675-2848 http://www.swbmfg.com/ Duralite (877) 744-3685 http://duralitebatteries.com/
I used the: SWB Pull-Pull rudder system (heavy) Tettra 580cc 20oz fuel tank (heaver than needed) Aluminum spinner (heaver than the carbon spinner that came with the kit) TruTurn #TT0814A
This is a list of what I used: YS engine Hyde Mount YS160AR Central hobbies nose ring NMP wheel axles NMP Pattern header NMP header bracket Nishioka one touch muffler mount (37mm) Hatori #725 muffler D.E.P.S. elevator system JR 9411sa servos (1.36oz each) JR 341 micro servo (throttle) JR UltraLite 7Ch ScanSelect PCM Rx Duralite 2150mha 2 cell li-ion -7.4 volt Flat Duralite #804001 - Digi Switch

The first thing I noticed was the balsa firewall. This maybe ok for the electric boys, but not for glow. I laminated the firewall front and back with carbon fiber before mounting the engine.

To find the correct placement for the mount I like to hang the fuse with the engine attached to the mount. (floating in the cowl) I then bolt on the the prop and spinner to get the perfect alignment. Once aligned, I mark the location and remove the engine and drill the holes.

My next step was to mount the nose ring. As you can see, the nose plane does not have enough surface area to mount the ring. I had to cut a piece of plywood and glue it into place. I also counter sunk the bolts into the plywood.

Next, I mounted the landing gear. The marks one the fuse that tell you where to drill the holes are wrong. You will need to disregard them and align and drill the holes yourself.

To mount the wheel pants, I aliened the pant with the axle next to the gear to determine where to drill the holes. After drilling the holes counter sunk blind nuts in plywood and glued them in place.

I used the NMP header, Hatori muffler and Nishioka mount. In my opinion this is the easiest and lightest system you can use. Due to the fuse being thin in the area where you will need to mount the muffler stand offs, I added an extra strip of carbon on the inside of the fuse.

When you start mounting the aileron servos you will notice that there is nothing to mount the servo to. You will need to make the servo mounting braces and glue them in place. Once in place there will be a larger hole than what I like to see. (I think a quarter scale servo would fit) I used balsa to box in the hole and used a small piece of covering to dress it off.

For the elevator I used the D.E.P.S. system from Central Hobbies. The system comes with excellent instructions so I will not tell you how to do it. I did make another plywood mount as I did for the throttle. I also needed to glue a small piece of carbon (as a base) to glue the mount to.

I used the SWB rudder system for the rudder. It also comes with instructions. I did make a platform to mount the rudder servo on. I used tristock hard wood to make a rail system to screw the platform to.

I almost forgot, If you have the split rudder and are not going to use them, (as I did) you can glue them together. But before you do that you will first need to add a piece of plywood on each rudder half as a base to screw the control horn to.
