I have a Jr sx600 radio & some rs600 rx's for it.
The tx is channel 48. So is all I need is channel
48 crystals for the rx's? Do I need to bind them?
Any pointers would be appreciated. I have never
progamed a tx before. I will be using the tx &
rx's for some 3 & 4 channels planes.

Yes all you need is crystals.

"Binding" is used with 2.4Ghz equipment, the transmitter has an ID number, binding stores that ID number in the reciever and from then on that reciever will only listen to commands from that transmitter. In the case of Spectrum and JR systems it goes a step farther and sends the model memory number as part of the ID number so that reciever will only listen to that transmitter and only when it has the correct model memory selected. Good stuff but it has nothing to do with 72 mhz equipment you're refering to.

Happy flying
