well guys , ive fell in love with a bit of a rough old dog who has lots of potential , the problem i have is im not sure what type of mustang she is 'what type of kit it was to buid from , im going to post some pictures of it now , and maybe some of u guys in the know can offer me some advice, also i have never had air retracts before and know nothing about them really , i figured out how they operate easily enough but noticed a small airhose in bottom of cowling , i fitted a 'ok dont laugh 'bicycle pump and sure enough it accepted air a tiny amount ,,so am i right in thinking i get the air canister inside recharged somewhere ? it has a supertigre g3000 fitted and well, i am going to concentrate on making it beutifull again before taqking her for preflights any comments on the type of kit it is or just in general comments would be much apreciated danny

It's got flat stabs so it's not a Pica unless someone has modified it. Judging from the doghouse and other items it appears to be more of a fun scale Mustang. Did Meister do one this size maybe?

Well, that is a 90" span MeisterMustang! How do I know............ it was mine. I sold it 5 years ago. Blonde bombshell is my wife! You can see the model..and the bombshell herself in the first edition of RCmodel Flyer magazine.
I had hundreds of flights on that model at my club site and on the UK show circuit. It may not be that scale but it flies superb.
holy, lol' really i bought it from some guy right down south thats unreal , maybe u can advise me on best to set her up lol , and i hope it wasnt you who had a sure deodarant bottle for the retract canister lol , really that is truly amazing
im going to try restore it back to its former glory , and it was featured in a magazine thats awsome , if you like ile send u a picture of her when shes been repainted 'the same scheme of course '
is there a way i can purchase an older copy of that magazine just to see the pic of her when she looked awsome ' ' and a pic of the plane would be nice ' hehe jokes aside , is there any way of u scanning me a picture of this magazine feature , sure would like to see her looking fresh and brand new

www.modelflyermagazine.com is the site. the pic is front on and had my wife and her mate kneeling beside it. I think the photographer didn't really care that the model was in it to be honest!!
My dad often flew this model at shows as I also had a galaxy mustang done in the same scheme so we flew them in formation.
I do have some other pics of this model though on the wall in my workshop. I'll bring them to work and scan them in. I've been meaning to do that anyway

Glad is gone to a good home.
I flew it on a ST3250. The meister designs have flat bottom wings so are very floaty! I never EVER used the flaps, it just doesn't need them.
The air line used to come out the bottom of the wing and hang out the scoop. Once pumped up it was pushed back inside the scoop till the next flight. There should be a Y lead connecting the mechanical tail wheel to the retract servo so that that operate at the same time.
that is surely this plane its exacly the same airlines still hidden away in the scoop i think the engine on here is a supertigre 3000 but its just been changed prolly he did crash it the last guy from a dead stick , and bent a landing gear strut and broke the wing but its been fixed very well indeed just needs a little bit of a repaint im from north wales by chester and drove down to southend on sea to pick her up , loong drive that was'' but im glad i got it as its going to be loved )
