Got a question for you guys. I just accuired a ZDZ-80 engine, And wanna try my hand with the BIG stuff. I have the AW Edge .46-.60 size (the most fun you can have with your clothes on.lol.) and the AW Yak .120. Both are great plane and have bailed me out of trouble many times. chop the throttle and they float for days.
With that said I guess you can tell I wanna stay with A-W. So to my question...... What would be a good plane for my ZDZ??

Thanks
Randy

My vote would be the Aeroworks 75cc Extra 260.

I got mine a few days ago(3 boxes), Packing is the best I have ever seen!!! I think it will fly fantastic with your engine!!
Customer service is really great too.

Go for it!!

I would agree... AW (and most other companies) have built extensively in both the 50cc and 100cc class, but the 80cc class has been a big gap for them, until the introduction of the 85cc extras. I had their 50cc extra, and have seen thier 100cc extras all over the place.. I can't imagine that the 85cc bird would be any different in terms of quality, and its a great looking scheme.

The 85cc Yak is a nice looking plane also, but I'm just so tired of seeing yaks all over the field... They're great for 3D, but for a cruiser, you can't beat an Extra or Edge.

I've had the 50cc extra, the 90-120 Yak and now their 50cc bipe... all have been great flying planes.. even the biplane floats in like a trainer. I moved to composites for my 100cc plane, but I agree with you... you can't go wrong with an Aeroworks!
