spiderhole -> AFPD - Questions before purchase (4/1/2008 3:18:28 PM)

A friend with a TRex 450 was showing me his copy of AFPD (not sure of exact version) to help me decide which sim to buy. I fly a Honeybee FP currently, so we were trying to load fixed pitch models in Aerofly. The only thing we could find was the Piccolo, but when he tried to edit any of the existing models he couldn't figure out how to change the engine and rotor values to behave like a FP instead of CP. Is this possible? I'm really considering Clearview instead since it has more FP model options and is so much less expensive. Thanks.

Click object, then click on whatever object you want to adjust

On the lower right hand side in the model's quick edit menu, there will be veriouse
perimeters you can choose to change for an object.
Click on the different icons to change the perimeters

Or you can open the .TMD files with NOTEPAD..then you'll see all of the perimeters.
It's in the model's folder in the aircraft folder.
You can change sounds or whatever you want.

There's a Trex 400 you can get from RC-sim

Or you can try Heli-x. To adjust Heli-x models...open the .XML (use notepad also)
It can be found in model/helicopters/....and whatever the models is.

Or you can go to Clearview. You do the samething...open the model's execution file by using notepad.
