My advice is to toss the tmaxx out of the vote.
The Rtx im guessing is probably the same price around the after shock and mgt.
So If I were you choose between those 3

What is your budget.
If its below 400 than those 3.

Budget and Racing won't work.

The Aftershock is weaker by far than the LST2. The money you save will be quickly eaten by needing to fix it more often.

The TMAXX handles worse than the Revo and is less race capable.

Saving some $ isn't bad, but it isn't going to be easy to be competitive in racing when you cheap out on the truck/parts/electronics for it.

If you are really saving pennies, I'd point to a Truggy over an MT as a racer.

I just sold my T-Maxx 3.3 and bought a Raminator (aftershock basically) and trust me, you don't want the T-Maxx. It breaks constantly. If I were you I would definately go with an Aftershock or MGT for bashing if money is an issue. I don't know anything about the TTR ST-1 but it looks nice.

I can say for under $300 there is no better 1/8 scale truck than the TTR ST1. This truck is absolutly rock solid. Not sure how they can get away with selling these so cheap but its way worth it.

I can tell you now. that the rtx-27 will smoke the t-maxx and the revo on the track. the new rt-x is a beast. i have personally raced this truck against the revo on a track as well as the lst2 and it just cleaned them up. duratrax has finally won my heart this time around A+

To my surprise, I have also heard good things about the rtx-27. I might have to try one out myself.

This rtx has me thinking. I am looking at buying another truck adn was really leaning for teh aftershock but I have read some good reviews about the rtx. The warhead still has a bad name so I dont know how much better this rtx is than the EVo. I know they changes some things but is it really that much better? Im confused.

my local duratrax dealer said he tore it down and its the exact same thing as the warhead evo just diff. tires and body its the same truck from my view too just looking it all seems the same.

I believe the engine is different between the warhead and RTX, which was one of the main complaints about the warhead.
