Hey guys thanks for the all interest, so here goes;

The engine is Zen clone based with a Walbro carb and is interchangeable with some if not most Zenoah aftermarket parts. The boats come with a tuned pipe. The Strait Jacket comes with an engine more like a Homelite type and its smooth and very reliable, great fun for the family and young kids. All are 26cc marine engines.

The radio system is also note worthy. Its a 3Ch FM system with 3rd channel mixing and an AUX function that can be activated by an external slider switch. That means you can mix or have an individual function of your design. The system has an LCD display and 15 model memory. There is also a DR feature and a TH Hold button you can set. Pretty incredible radio for an RTR and not one you would likely shelve once you buy your RTR like so many we all have collected over the years. The 3 boats are already preset in the memory of the radio from the factory so you have a good staring point and the model already named and ready to go.

You can go to our website www.venom-group.com and you can contacts us by phone 800-705-0620 ask for Paul or Dave and you can also ask your local authorized Venom Racing dealer. We have a dealer list on our site as well so you can find one near you. We will have more info for you later as well.

Prices, the Cats will have a street price just under $1000 and the Strait Jacket will be about $700, these are not 100% accurate so dont quote me on that.

The bare hulls will come soon but at the moment we are maxed out with production and the spares will come just after we fill the initial orders. I'm with you guys that want to have their way with a cool new scale C1 cat hull but I cant even get one!!

More to come...

The Rio uses a Fuji brand engine and its 28cc, we have a 26cc engine, 2.16hp, with a Walbro carb.

Expected arrival dates are mid to late May.

Are the boats painted and then you apply the decals? Or is everything all ready applied?

So for $1500 you get 2hp? But I do admit the cat hull looks are good, if they have any beef to them.

I was looking earlier & you can get a Aeromarine RTR for less. 1200ish for their cheepest RTR. surely the Venom ones would be cheeper, they are just over 1200 on tower.

They already are listed at $949 on Venom's website, Tower always has the price jacked up on preorder items and they readjust when they get closer to the release date. So from Tower at $949 and $50 off coupon code and free shipping (if a Tower Saver member) $899 shipped for one the Cats, not bad!!

I ordered mine yesterday from my LHS, and paid cheaper than $1249. I can't wait!

Nice looking cats. I would like to see inside the hull and look at the hardware. Tom

Here are a couple of videos.

http://www.youtube.com/venomgroupintl

The Cats are direct drive and the the Strait Jacket has a clutch. They all have water pick ups.

Tower will post new products with prices their computer system automatically assigns and then they go in and adjust the price later.
