ok i am replacing my piston sleeve and need some assitance ... on how to get it out ive got it all open so i can see the rod and the cylinder and the cooling head any help would be appriciated

You have to pull the sleeve out to create room for the rod to slip off of the crank. The sleeve just pulls straight out from the top, may take some work but should easily come out. Then slide the rod off of the crank and shes out.

i can only ge the sleeve out a bit but then it wont budge after that

try turning the engine over, sometimes the piston will help push it out.
Otherwise remove the carb and bake it in the oven at 300 for a few minutes, the sleeve should pretty much fall out.

take a q tip. cut the swab of it. remove your exhaust. insert q tip through exhaust. turn piston over. it will push up the sleeve. and you will be good to go, make sure you dont use something to hard that will damage the motor.
