Broke in a 2 of theses Trucks today......
The first thing I noticed is that they are LIGHT, compared to my other 1/8 Vehicles.....
This is a Good Thing, as it will help with Acceleration and Top speed....
The Infinity engines were a Pleasure to Break in. Started right up and responded well to adjustments.

Check your Carb Needles though....!!!!
Both Trucks came with Oddball Factory Settings....
Truck #1 had HSN 1 3/4 out,,,,LSN 2 3/4 out.....WAY TOO LEAN!
Truck #2 had HSN 2 1/4 out,,,,LSN 3 3/4 out....Better, But still a bit too lean on the HSN....

I live in Souther California...100 degrees F today....Humidity?...ForGeddabout it!
I set my HSN at 2 1/2 out, and LSN at 3 1/2 out.....
That is still Very Rich for My conditions. (High Ambient temperature and Low humidity require leaner settings).
I also like to crank my Idle screw open a bit more than usual, (for a High Idle). This is just a preference of Mine, and I turn it down after a Tank or Two of gas....

For you Right Coasters and Fly Over States,,,your Higher humidity and Lower temperatures (Spring Time), will probably require substantially richer settings, for a Safe break in.....

these are good things to know in general as quite a few himoto vehicles come with the team infinity engines. i find they hold a tune pretty good, and are pretty powerful for a .18 of course it also helps that these trucks are geared just right. i only have one pet peeve about that engine and it's the color of the cooling head lol. i dont like the color of it. and i know it's nothing to get my undies in a bunch over but it's the only thing i could find that i thought could be improved on it. other than that i love the infinity engine.

Didn't Infinity go out of business recently? What will the trucks be shipped with in the future?

Ah, okay. I heard that they were no longer being made, plus Redcat Vancouver is having a blowout sale on the Infinity .27 right now, so I assumed they went out of business.

Was working on my MXT-2S (1/8 Mega P).
Actually , I just took it apart to see What Makes it Tick....Lol
I took a few Pics along the way. Pictures always come in Handy when it comes time to Reassemble
Here are some Chassis Pics.....Very easy to disassemble to this point. All the screws on top are the same size , so you cant mix em up.
Also an Engine Pic, with the Unique Himoto Header. Lots of Length on the Header translates into better High End Speed (I think...lol)

Please ignore Veronica and Sonia's Phone #,,,, And my WINDOWS KEY #.....Lol!

OMG DON!!!!!! it looks like you found a mud bog lol. if you notice any power gains with that other header i think it would be on the bottom end.it's a pretty short pipe and it looks quite a bit smaller in diameter. it might actualy restrict that engine more than the stock pipe. i got a new aluminum pipe and i'm gonna try it on my mxt and see if it's any better than the stock pipe. and no it's not the himoto aluminum pipe, i wish it was. but it was free. i also might have an idea that will work for holding the end of the muffler down on the truck. if it works i'll post pics and how to make one.

Its not really mud. its oil from the exhaust. blew another gasket.lol I am drawing a blank here....... when the hsn is screwed all the way in, is that rich or lean? and approx how many turns out should it be. i have the lsn dialed in but not the top yet.
