Wondering if anyone else may have ran into this problem. But I can't seem to get that round ring around the wheel hex off. Is there a trick to it?

its the re inforcement ring on the inside of the rim where the hex goes into, i dont know if you can get it off, i wouldnt try, you could break the rim.

you would have to buy the rims with the ring pede. those don't come off. you will break the rim if it does come off. if you want to reinforce the new rims you get you would have to make a new ring and put it on your new wheel and then heat it to make it fuse to the new rim. or perss fit it on the new rim.

If I'm not able to change the wheels, then this is how the MXT will be set up for my track. I layed down the shocks, brought the threads back so the shocks are soft. That's pretty much it.

I got my MXT-2s today. The build quality seems absolutly amazing and I can't believe the price!!!!

I took some pics of it along with comparison pictures.

And eddie, it came with the team infinity engine instead. What are the needle settings on that?

Edit: Does anyone else thing the high speed needle is hard to turn?

Nice looking Truck!
I have heard nothing but good things about them.. I am sure you will be very happy with it!

Knowing me as the electric person on the forum, I couldn't resist. Maybe I have an idea here.

It's awful heavy though.

just take off the nut and wiggle the wheel back and forth, it may take a little to get it loose but it will come off.

Yep.....
The MXT-2S rims are on there Pretty Tight, (which is a Good Thing)......
They can be a bit difficult to get off.....
Especially if you dont remove them very Regularly......
Dirt and Mud gets in there and makes removal a CHORE.

Try Spraying a little WD-40 on the Hub assembly. (It Helps when they are Stubborn).
Then Wiggle Em Off, (be Patient. It may take a few minutes)...
