Yes you can get a 2 speed or a center diff.

Pede, from looking at the photos and drawings (exploded views), they seem to be identical except for the body, the roll cage on the buggy and the wing on the buggy. Oh, and the rims are white on the buggy versus chrome on the truggy.

what is the best (toughest) setup? the 2 speed? or the center diff? for bashing anyhow?

for bashing, its center diff hands down, on road would be 2 speed. Less to worry about with a center diff.

Man, I can't wait 'til Tuesday! My new MXB-3 is due to deliver. I'll get some pics and let people know how it runs (although I am sure it will kick A$$). And if I can figure out how to do so, I will get some video also.

Just remember to put locktite on ALL metal to metal screws before you run anything, and watch out for them mail boxes and tree's jumping out infront of them, they have a tendency of doing that.

Actually there very loud if you hit them just right it can also make the hair on your back stand up (hearing that noise) knowing you have just caused yourself money and time .......LOL

Don't worry - I will take time to check everything over and loctite the screws. And i will run it through a proper break in. It will be tough, though!

LOL.. OMG i so wish i had the video going when rich broke in his Volcano... if i told you what happened. you would think i was making it up... I was BUSTING UP LOL when it was going on............. maybe in Paltalk i could or rich could tell the story.....
