I currently have 6 YS engines and have been flying them for 5 years. The APC 15x8 prop seems to be what works best on the YS91FZ, I do wonder why you feel a need to use 30% Heli fuel, 15-25% fuels work great, just make sure you use something with 18-20% oil and at least half of it is castor.

RS-cap, why do you recommend fuel with castor oil? YS recommends fuels with all synthetic oil be used in their engines.

YS recommends synthetic because castor gums up the fuel regulator if allowed to sit for any extended period of time. However, castor is always a good idea because of its affinity for metal and superior lean run protection and main bearing protection. Hence the dilemna. I run the season with castor but on the last run use synthetic only and then a good after run oil. After five years everything still works perfectly!

Ive had no trouble with castor in YS engines. It really helps retard rust and cam gear wear. ALL of the worn cam gears in YS engines I have seen were in engines that used straight synthetic oil.

Another good prop for the 91 is the 15 x 6-10 progressive pitch. They pull vertical like a 6 pitch and give a flat out speed close to the 8 pitch props. The dive braking is not as good as the 15-8 however.
