Wondering if the Viper wheels were ever updated? I was trying to get the center brass to come out of one wheel, and short of putting a hammer to it.....well its still in there. Hate to cut it apart and find out it was updated, will do however prior to throwing out unless someone knows?

Thanks

Richard

Hey Richard,

I bought 2 Vipers about 3 weeks ago & thought the same thing about the wheels after reading all the previous horror stories.

I'm thinking they must have updated the wheels and I don't feel there will be an issue after inspecting them.

Have you mounted that Nelson on a Viper yet?

I was hoping you really didn't eat it for a meal when i seen it on a dinner plate a couple days ago. LOL

I swear I didn't eat it ,

But I did get it nice and cleaned up. Muffler cleaned up real nice also and the locktite does not seem like its going to let go. Going to run that Nelson this weekend but with snow still on the ground and a couple of feet at the field and all over the runway.................sadly its only viper building time and not flying time

Its Plus 6 deg C today and melting like crazy............hopefully soon

Richard

I started on a new Viper this week and the wheels look the same as my previous ones - the ones that look good but fail. I've already replaced them. Don't bite - they will fail.
