Well got it finished. Did a little test hover out in the driveway. Rock Solid needs a bit of trim work but I could not be happier with this thing. I'm looking forward to the test sessions ahead. The A123 pack I'm building is coming along and we will see just how it preforms. I need a drink man was I nervous. I knew it was right but you never know how these things will turn out. Mike

I dont have a video recorder but I know of someone that does maybe this weekend. I still have some tweaking to do on it but so far so good. I really like to take my time and get the set up right. Even with the Loctite I used I'm finding some items that need to be adressed. It all part of the game. Well worth the effort. Mike

Yep those videos are the great. I learn something new each time I've watched one. The links on the E Smart are really tight watch them . After getting a few short hovers in on mine I broke out the 450 V2 and the King for some flying and noticed a big difference in the links on both compared to the E Smart. At least I can play with them while waiting on parts. Mike

Any of you guys making any progress on your builds? I'm using the "down time" (waiting on replacement parts) rechecking all my work and flying mt T Rex and King.

no, none for me, still waiting on batteries, but I'm going to my LHS tomorrow to get some connectors, and if all goes well I'll be able to finish the wiring and power the system up to bind the reciever and center the servos so that I can finish putting the head on, just been frustrated about all my other projects that are on hold at the moment, for stupid reasons

My parts showed up today. Bp Hobbies is quick ordered Monday here on Friday. Winds blowing but managed a quick hover test. The big links are still too tight I need to correct that but otherwise It get better every time I spool this thing up. The extension I made for the battery has the CG right on. I've been told on the other forums that it doesn't (the CG) matter but until I have this trimmed out I'm not going to mess the the CG. Mike

Its nice when a plan comes together, isn't it? Weathers still messed up here so its off to the warehouse in the morning for some serious trim work. Good luck with your set up. How did your big links turn out on the fly bar cage? Have you had a chance to balance yours yet? Mike

I still have to put the head assembly back on, I took it off to do my servos, still have to power them up to get center so I can adjust linkages, one thing that sucks is that I need a new one of THESE because when I went to put my metal tail blade holders the screws just stripped out but minor things.
