Haven't been posting much because I'm trying to fly at least 2 packs a day when the weather cooperates. I'm really liking the E Smart and gald I made the changes and upgrades I did. It's really a stable helicopter and a joy to fly. Haven't tried any 3D stuff but its down the road. Its worth twice what I paid. Mike

Hey nutt, you ever fly outside? All the vids I have seen are in the garage.(?) You gotta be pretty good to fly that thing in there, with all the turbulance something that size must make would be like flying in a 20mph crosswind! GREAT JOB!!!

With the 4 batteries, you'll probably get sent 2 parallel T connectors and 1 series connector. Once it's all connected you end up with a 22.2V 4800mah or similar.

Guys we are talking apples and oranges here. The E-smart has a glow counterpart the G-smart. I believe it flys on a .18 (or close) glow engine, the Rex 600 is a .50 size machine (even if electric). I dont know rotor size on the E-smart but on the Rex it uses 600mm blades and probably weighs around 7lbs as compared to the G-smarts 4+ lb flying weight. Confused yet?

yes i`m very confused ,so is the esmart 600 no good?,lets stick with the electrics, i know the rex is better heli in this class but it cost much more, i would like to hear from someone that has both helis, $1300.00 vs $2000.00 rtf is it worth it? or pay more and get the real thing,

considering you can build an ES600 for under $1000 its a good deal for the ES600, but if you guys are trying to figure out whether a ES600 can compare to the T-Rex 600 then the answer is there is no comparison, will always be that way, ESky helis do not have the same quality that the Align helis do, but ESky isn't trying to offer the absolute best helis available, they're offering more people a way of getting into this hobby and try different heli sizes without killing your bank account. So if you want a big heli cause they're just really freaking cool , then theres no way you could go wrong with the ES600, now if you want world class performance and pro level equipment then def go for a T-Rex, I refuse to spend $2000 on 1 heli, for that much I could build 3 RTF ES600's (the set up I'm currently using, and all sharing the same Tx) is the quality as good, no, but it would still be 3 times the fun as having only 1 heli.

i came accross some reviews about the e-smart 600 and looks as everyone was happy with the es600 even if it was all plastic version, the all metal version is compered to the rex by ppl who own both helis and the es 600 gets realy nice reviews, dont get me wrong but the es 600 will never be the t-rex 600 but for the price is maybe better

I was not trying to say one is better, only different. I think the confusion is the way nitro helis are classified vs. electric. I think electric helis are classified by the old style motor size, ie. 450, 550, 600, etc. Nitro helis go by displacement. .30, .50 etc. but some times the blade size is used a .30 is 550mm but my Gaui 550 only has 500mm blades, see what I mean. Align really should classify the 600 as a .50 electric/glow machine. BTW nuttcaze if you should step over to the "dark side" why not get a G-smart? I bet it will build cheaper than an E-smart, and you are already an expert on the Smart series helis.

If noise and smoke is an issue choose electric. I live on 25 acres in rural Ga. and fly nitro helis (as well as electric) with no neighbor problems. If you have a club near by that flys nitro, drop in for a visit. Work both sides of the street if you can.
