I have the aluminum ones from the ultra wide on mine. I use 8 though. Huge difference over 4. Very nice shocks. Definately use 8 if you can.

either the aluminum shocks or t/emaxx shocks would be a great upgrade

aluminum shocks are #08041

I take it this is a himoto part # and what are they off of.Emaxx shocks would work great all the way around/meaning all four?

its a himoto or redcat part number, you would only need 4 of the tmaxx shocks, even the aluminum shocks, the mamba/tsunami is the same as the viper/volcano and they only use 4 shocks.

So the Viper/Volcano uses the same parts as the tusnami?I ordered up some maxx shocks so should be good in a few days.I would rather order himoto parts for this thing rather than going through red cat. Thanks for the info.

Sorry but one more thing what rims and tires fit on this thing?Stock ones are about toast.

most 12mm hex 2.2 or 2.8 rims will fit, the 2.8 jato rims look real nice. the mamba/viper use alot of the same parts, like the shock towers. the difference is the suspension, the truck uses pillowball and the truck uses c hub, they are not interchangable.
