Hello Fellow Flyers,
It is to my regret, I will have to cancel our IMAC contest this weekend.
Early this AM a young couples lives were taken when their car over turned into the pond on the Flight Field Property. With respect for the Land Owner and the Family of the victims we will reschedule the Piedmont IMAC for a later date to be announced. I apologize for any unconvinced however I feel it a necessity to do so. Below is the letter from our Secretary and a link to the first news article of this tragic event.

Flyers,
The Flying Field is closed until further notice. There was a fatal
incident at the pond behind the field and the authorities are treating the
entire area as a crime scene.
Our gracious host has asked that we stay off the field until further notice.
Please respect their wishes and take a break. I'll let everyone know when
it's safe to go back.

The IMAC Event this weekend is cancelled. All flying at the field is
suspended until further notice.
George is working with the owner and leaser to determine how to secure the
property; until that is worked out please stay off the field.
