your tank dry?too lean?bogs because it's to rich?....be more specific when you apply the brakes and stuff.there are multiple possibilities with that sort of problem

Sounds like your idle is too low.
If it just slows down too much and shuts off, it's probably the idle.
If it blubbers, 4-strokes, and sounds wet, then it's probably a slightly rich lsn.

LSN controls your fuel delievery at idle, turn it in a tiny bit at a time to see if it gets better(lean it out). Watch for smoke on acceleration, too much means your needs are rich. I would suggest a temp guage if your need to tuning, it could save you a motor and help you understand how to tune.

A temp gauge will help you if your new to tuning by giving you another way of seeing if your too lean or rich other than by smoke sound or performance. Generally a temp gauge is not the most accurate way to get a good tune, but it is a good guideline. Most engines run good anywere between 220 and 270 degrees give or take some. Too low of a temp usually means your too rich and too high of a temp generally means too lean.

Does it have a high rpm at idle? If so you might have it set too lean on the LSN or your idle screw is set too far in not allowing the throttle to close enough to let it idle down. I would richen the LSN a bit and see if it idles down. If not then probably have to adjust the idle stop screw some to get it to idle down. Blue smoke is good on full throttle take off. You want to see some so you know your not going to lean.

its either a high idle, or you have snapped a clutch spring as u said it creeps forward, can u hold it on the ground still while its idling?

You need to look at the manual...I'm sure it has a diagram or picture illustrating which screw performs what function.

Turn the throttle screw out to lower the idle...

If you adjust the transmitter too much you may be applying the brakes then they will always be dragging when you are not on the throttle...

lol just let me know if you want a picture of a 3.3, I have mine out because.... whell.... how do I put this nicely, the 3.3 isn't the best engine I have owned, and I have had 2 of them and they both ran into problims after the 1st gallon so I ended up replaceing the first one right before I finished the first gallon and the 2nd one I got about 1.5 gallons and it has problims. So I have a 18tm in it now and it out performs the 3.3

No lol. I just went on ebay and found a couple good pics for you.

Also this is a good article to help you learn to tune if you need help with that.

Lol I wish it worked that way. Your tuneing will change with the amount of water in the air (forgot what it is called) and the tempachure out side

Keep in mind that an engines tune changes day by day, every time you get our your engine and run it, you should tweak the needles a little bit (typically). One day your engine can run fine, the next day it can be running extremely lean.
NOTE: Tune the HSN first because it controls the full amount of fuel entering the carburetor, and then tune the LSN because it is a fine adjustment screw.

As a side note, if you do a lot of wide open running at WOT (Wide Open Throttle, a.k.a. full throttle) your engine will need extra lubrication and it could need to be set 1/4th turn rich to ensure proper lubrication to your engine at high RPM’s.

Here is a good little graphic that for the record I did not make, I simply found it very helpful.

Computer control changes the tune for us on 1:1 cars. Before that there was elaborate carburetor configurations with accelerator pump, secondary butterfly valves, little passages, and float systems, etc...
Plus, just due to the sheer volume of fuel and air in 1:1 engines makes it easier to stay within the required parameters.
