Calling all SE and NE IMACers. The famed FARM contest is on for 5/3 and 5/4. Those who've flown it in the past know that this contest always offers a little something extra, or sometimes Extra 300, or Christen Eagle; Sukhio Su 26; Waco . . . One of the longest running contests on the East Coast, FARM has a tradition of full scale demo treats, and is located only three miles from the famed Bealton Flying Circus. If you're planning to attend please pre-register at the link below, it makes things far easier to get started on time Saturday morning.

Let's get the registrations in . . . letsflyrc

We will have a short judging refresher in conjunction with the pilot's meeting Saturday morning. As such, it's imperative that as many as possible pre-register so we can get started in a timely fashion.

I'm hoping to make it.... Just put $110 of gas in the van last night....OUCH. Not planning on driving it between now and next weekend so thats a good start....gas in the tank.

Yeah....I have that white Dodge van. Please dont use that WORK word....lol. The van is mainly the "toy hauler"....planes and very occassionally dirt bikes.

I am glad I came down for the event. It was my first time flying in one and i learned quite a bit. I have been flying a long time but its funny how the nerves kick in when you do it in front of judges scoring your flight. It also would have been nice to have less wind for my first contest but everybody flys in the same wind. I'll definitely get to a few more this year.
