More wing construction. Here, again, I am displaying that I have thickened the wing tip by creating extra w-10 and w-11 pieces out of 1/8 stock. I will sand these pieces into shape either with my tools or by making wing tip landings. We'll see how it goes.
The second and third picture show the preparation and building of the aileron.
Photo 3, the third aileron bay shows a piece of 1/8 plywood that I have installed for the aileron control horn.
Picture 4 shows the aileron before tapering and adding hinges. Also shown is the trailing edge and the sheeted leading edge.

That's it until I use another roll of film. I won't have much building time in the next couple of weeks due to previous commitments. Please bear with me. I shall return. Ron

Using a little Spackling Compound to fill the holes. I use the real thing because the other compounds are foam like when they dry and are subject to melting when covering is being ironed on.

The servo mount hatch is put into place. Views from top and bottom. I don't have servos at this time, but, there won't be any problem in installing them. Plastic tubes are run to accomodate the servo wires. Smaller tubing could also be installed to allow for wing tip lites if so desired.

These plywood strips should have been mounted on edge on the inside of the cockpit. I did it this way and have to make some alterations to straighten things out. Not only did I glue them incorrectly, I glued them crooked and will have to do some cutting to get things to fit right.
This is the penalty of waking up at 4:00 am and working on the plane. I'll never learn.
So, let's get on with it.

Did you have trouble reading what was printed on the paper? Me too and I already threw the paper away and today was trash day. How's this for a color scheme? I'm probably going to change my mind about what I'll pick. Back to the work bench. Thanks for watching. Ron
