Built the other 2 brass tubes with wooden dowl inside. Epoxied dowl into brass tube. After letting the epoxy cure I then inserted the brass tube into the aluminum tube that had already been glued into cabin ceiling. Holding the brass tube steady I then drilled holes for hold-down bolts. The hardwood for the attachment of the cabin ceiling above windows was epoxied into place. I need 2 1/2 inch bolts to complete attachment. They are on back order. In the meantime I will attempt to attach the brass tubes to the wing and to build the servo mounts in the wing.
This is not the correct way to attach the cabin ceiling but since I had errored in gluing the plywood pieces I was forced to improvise. Remember, I am not going for scale here. I may be more inclined to do so on the next one. This is just a basic build and shows where I have gone wrong to forwarn you. Thanks, Ron

3:am. Yup! Another one of those nights when I just don't want to quit building. Hey, do you blame me? It's starting to look like something now. The wing tubes aren't glued into the wing yet. I need to do a little sawing of the aluminum tubes to get a good fit then I'll reposition and glue the tubes into place. I'm getting more and more excited about this now.
Be sure that you have put the brass tubes into the aluminum tubes, drilled the holes, and put in the bolts through the holes to secure the tubes before you slide the wings onto the tubes. This is the only way you can insure a perfect fit and not have to re-drill holes. Everything went together just as though I knew what I was doing.

Today the center section of the front windshield was worked on. The wing sub assemblies were put together and checked for allignment. It looks "eyeball" straight and that's good enough for me. Puting the wings together with the brass tubing is great. The pieces slide together as though they were greased.
If my bolts come in (they have been shipped) I will secure the center section of the wing to the fuslage. If not, I'll do the servo mounts.
In photo 1 the ribs are not warped. That appears to be a camera issue.

Note: The following is a series of photos that may (or may not) answer some questions you may have. Please notice that the aileron hinges are not built as shown on the plans. I did it this way so that there is more wood on both sides of the hinges. I will make adjustment for the gaps as building progresses. The nylon control horn for attaching the wing struts is not a good idea. It will more than likely cause flutter type vibrations. I'll have to make adjustments accordingly.
