Ron, R U sure U don't want to put fabric on that plane? It is looking GREAT and fabric would look SO much nicer than "money-cote"... It is really easy... Do a search on here for "fabric" (and maybe add "water-based" and look at the write ups on using water-based polyurethane and/or polycryllic. The fabric is cheap enough (uncertified dacron from Aircraft Spruce and Specialty, www.aircraftspruce.com ) Stick it down around the edges w/ Balsarite for fabric, shrink it with a heat gun, add multiple light coats of polyu or polycryllic, paint w/ acryllic latex (using your sprayer or even brushed) or rattle can Rustoleum Professional. It might be a bit heavier than plastic (especially the first time you do it, you will use too much paint) but this plane is going to be a "kite" anyway, some add'l weight might actually be a GOOD thing... It also adds a TREMENDOUS amount of STRENGTH to the framework that plastic does not. I have a couple airframes built that I am going to cover soon. Maybe I could get with you and show you the process with those.
