today was the first day out for the new season...i was pretty excited to dust it off and tear up one of the local parking lots...but when started it and did a little tuning i noticed that the car was bogging down on take off...i would hit the throttle and it wouldnt take off very fast...any pointers on what to do...its supposed to be a nice day tomorrow and i wanted to take it back out but i need to know this first...thanks for any pointers givin

you should adjust your low speed needle.

there is supposed to be 3 needles on the car but i can only find 2 of them...there is one directly on front of the carb and that is the high speed and then there is a little black one under the high speed is that it?

at the side where the servo linkage attatches to the carb. silver slot screw. should be flush with the collar around it. adjusting that will richen or or lean out your take off speed. dial that in and it will be a rocket off the line.

you may also want to change your glow plug if your car has been sitting and if your fuel is really old you may want to get new fuel.
