Just bought AFPD with add on's 1, 2 and 3. I installed the program and the add-ons and the simulator was working fine, great in fact, then I got a message from the game that it could not see the controller and when I press search it could not find the controller. I shut down the game and restarted the PC. Now when I attach the USB cable with my Hitec controller attached I get a massage that the USB Device is Not Recognized.

I checked all connections and changed the battery in the controller without any results. Then I installed AFPD rebooted and reinstalled but I am still getting the same message.

Now what???

Hi timbo, pls unplug your logitech joystick and unplug/plug your AFPD cable again. Then see what is displayed in the game controllers window. Some usb devices such as joysticks can cause usb conflicts.

Hi timbo, you have a faulty usb cable. Please ship your usb interface cable to the service department below with a brief description of your problem, daytime phone number, and email address. You may attach this thread for reference.

Thanks Mike,

I was afraid of that. I just bought this at the Week Signals show in Toledo this last week end. I was working so good to, at least for the 5 minutes it was working. It's going to be hard to wait for a replacement.

How long should it take to for the service center to send a replacement usb cable? I shipped it on 4/9 and they received it delivered at 10:41 AM on April 11.

Mike,

I received my USB Cable, Thank you.

Now what do I do about the activation code for AddOn 3?

One more thought, I am going to buy a different PC (need more horse power for AddOn 3). Will I have to get a new activation code then as well?

Mike thank you for all your help but so far you are the only responsive interaction with ikarus support I've had.

I sent an email to info@ikarus.net on 4/30 and still haven't received a reply. Should I have had a case number or something to include?

Tim
