i got my trusty old avistar out a few weeks ago, ( i had robbed the electronics and engine long ago!!) i have always loved the way it flew. i had enough electronics and a spare engine so i put it back together. yesterday was a beautilull day i left work early went to the flying field. wind was zero she started right up did a pre flight and i was off!! she was doing great just a little down elevator and she was thumbs off!!! made a touch and go went around the pattern and decided it was time for a few loops! on the last loop did a lazy snap on top came out and went inverted ot the bottom. this is when i had a winter brain fart!! i was low and just for an instant i pulled up elevator, just a hint but it was enough i tried to roll out but befor i could get it over a wing hit the ground and it did a nice cart roll. it was kinda funny but then i felt devistated, i had let my old friend down. she is ok minor damage, just goes to show it cant happen no matter what the level of experience.....
