Its impossible to produce an ARF to please the masses on every part of the build.
Every ARF that I buy I always change things to suit myself and everyone has the option to reconfigure things to suit their own requirements.

My intended use for the Husky is fun flying (with Spraying)and aero towing so there will be quite a few changes from the instruction book which is only a guide anyway.

From what I've seen and read here, the Husky will be the pride of my fleet.

Really can't wait for mine to arrive.
Cheers
Paul

I couldn't agree more. I don't like servos on the outside of the plane but I figure they were meant to balance the plane better back there. Just paint 'em whatever color the the backdrop is and they'll be less noticeable.
The one thing I noticed was the weight.....intruction manual stated that the weight is 5500 grams which comes out to about 12 lbs. and I know they don't mean that as all up dry weight do they? Maybe that's the weight before radio and engine. A plane of this size could easily reach 20 - 26 lbs. with a heavier 50cc + engine.
Anyway....all that aside....it is a truly scale airplane with lots of potential. I'm waiting for Austars to contact me (I gave them my address and info) so I can get this plane sent to me. For me, soon is not soon enough!

I have to agree about the servos, I'm sure I'll find a way to get them tucked away out of sight. I also wondered about that weight and can only conclude that it must be the weight of all the parts in the box!

Hi,
Re the rudder and elevator servos, we compared two designs before we started , for structural reason, it is better to install the servos (rudder and elevator) on two sides of the fuselage (it is not a small plane, we used the same design as that for 122 inch Edge and yak.
We have decals for this plane, national flags (AU, CA, USA, UK, NZ, GER, FRAN), registration mark sticker (VH-AUS.G-KING.....in white and black..) and Cessna logo. It is included in the package, we will mail to you.

outcontrol41 and Gtarling can receive the plane in 10 days (door to door delivery). Glen will arrange the shipping next week, he contacted few freight companies, DHL,TNT, UPS, EMS can save us some.

Cheers

Alex

Now I'm getting excited! 10 days and mine should be here! I may not be able to start on it straight away, because I have one or two other projects to finish up first, but it should be well under way by November. I'm sure Outacontrol will be first with the photos!

Whoopee, won't be long now
Great job on the plane. I would still like to see some detail on how the smoke system was installed on the demo plane.
Thanks.

Don't think anyone's received one yet. I know that I'm just about top of the order list and mine's being despatched tomorrow, according to Glen.

Glen,

I got your PM....thanks again. You guys will be greatly supported by us after the sale! On another note, orange monokote is fine and I still want the orange color scheme. Monokote is a good covering, never had any trouble with it. Money will be on it's way soon. Can't wait to see customers posting pictures!
