I see how it works! Good job. I may use this plane exclusively for towing gliders in my club. As musiccity says....we're ready to buy!

Even though I'm not a tow guy, I think this was a smart move on Austars to include the towhook. Way to go guys! I'm still hoping for more pics and video of the new color scheme and spray system soon. This is going to be a real winner!

OH my, what to do? Jump on the rcguys band wagon or wait and see if Austars comes through for folks in the USA?
It would be fun to have the smaller RCguys plane as an electric and the big one for gas.

outacontrol where do you fly? AMA Visitors welcome? I have a 4M ASK21 that can always use a tow.

Well...I think both planes are big...just one is bigger. It looks like the Austars plane will in a higher price range and have more scale features on it. It would be a whole lot easier if we could compare the two side by side at a show to help decide.

I also spend a lot of time flying at my neighbor's house who has an rc field behind his house. He's not a club member nor in the AMA ( I am, though) but he has about 8 or 9 giant scale gas planes with plans to build more. There is low traffic on our rural road and his is the only house near the airfield. We call it the Girdletree RC Airfield. It's wide and long. And, best of all, it's private. Great for testing out new airplanes away from public. If you come by, you're welcomed to fly here...all respectable rc pilots considered brothers and sisters and we'd love some company.

Has anyone heard from Austars with an update on the Ahusky? It's been over a week since they've posted. I'm getting antsy.

Hopefully we'll have some new info soon.

hi guys im waiting on the wings to set it up & smoke on,lol..
i have australias biggest 3d comp in 2 weeks so at the moment im building & test flying alot of customers planes for this 3d comp, 23 24 25 26 may,,after that comp i will have the ag finished for more testing,,i have repaired the damage on the fuse now i wait for wings,,,,not long now guys these 188s are in the build now

I suppose they're currently working on finding a U.S. distributor to import these planes. Looking for some big announcement to be made one of these days as to what's going to happen......
