Hi guys i got a chance to build the new austars ag.The quality is great & is going together very easy
i will have more info on weight tomorrow, more pics & vids next week

hi guys the ag flys very nice,it was a bit tail heavy so the fist flight was only 2 min.The second flight was great very smooth has alot of lift which makes it fly very slow.
i will post a short vid soon here a few more pics

hi this is a prototype we are working on but when they are ready we will be sending plane straight to the usa from the factory,
we will let you guys no as soon as there ready,AUSTARS thanks you guys for the intrest in there planes,any info on mods you guys can give us we will pass it on to the factory,austars wonts to see the customers happy

Hey Glen! Hit us with some real information!

If thats a prototype/prelim design then what is the timeline to head into manufacturing and then onto marketing/delivery???

If thats a one off custom prototype then you are approximately 6 months to a year away from them hitting the market I would say.

Hate to get excited about it if its that far out because anything can happen...but lookin good so far!!!

Glen,

Just my two cents worth, but why not team up with one of the big guns in the U.S. like Horizon Hobbies, Great Planes, or Chief Aircraft? Any of these would make a fine distributor and they sell ARF's in the same or comparable quality as Austars. Horizon is selling the crap out of their Pawnee series....they're backordered 'till June or beyond! You definately will find a markrt here in the U.S. for such a nice plane as this and all the Austar Cessna series of planes. Don't keep us hangin'! Tell us what your thoughts and plan are. There's even RC Guys up in Canada that may be interested? Your options are plentiful.
BTW....Cermark is bringing Dave Patrick Models back to life...who would of thought they'd sell HIS airplanes??? Well...there you go! What are you waiting for? Pick up that phone and do some negotiating! Oh, and by the way...will you please post some video of this plane in flight before musiccityfan has a royal coniption fit!? He's starting to drool......[:-]

Music is not the only one drooling at the mouth, such a beauty, even sexy-beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I am ready for my 188 any day, but bigger is better. Would love to have the privlidge of the test flying of the Huskey here in Mississippi Delta where they were very plentyful at one time. Maybe if they come out later, I can save my allowance and get one....Travis

hi guys.im sorry for the delay on the vids but the guy who does them is very busy,i got the madian 1 of him last night it was to tail heavy but still flew ok,the dead stick landing was due to the motor running to rich,
time frame is around the next 2 months & yes it wll be sold by a leading company in the usa,guys i no its a tease but you will love this plane when it arrives on your shore line,i will have more vids soon,we have just ordered a new set of wings beacuse some one shoot it down while i was doing a low slow pass [X(][>:][:(][)] these things happen,

hi, OUTACONTROL41, what color scheme would you like? we probably only use this yellow/black for Australian market, tell us and send some photos for the color scheme you like,

and we can make it! we would like to upgrade this plane by adding a navigation lite on the rudder. give us your comments for the upgraded, color....lights............
